Unglazed Floor Tiles
| Tiles that
derive color and character from the raw materials used in the body instead
of from the colored, impervious coating fired on a glazed tile surface.
Because some unglazed tiles are vitreous, they are suitable for wet areas
and can also be used outdoors. The manufacturing process can range
from crudely hand made products to uniform machine made tiles. |
