Here is a Brief Overview
of what you will find in this edition of the TrailBlazer

AMERICAN OLEAN (ADDENDUM)...Harrisburg Sales Territory Only - This page should be inserted into your 3/1/06 AMERICAN OLEAN price list and supercedes the Designer Elegance section.

AQUA MIX - You will probably notice a few subtle name changes to existing products and see that ConestogaTile will begin stocking four new products: High Gloss Sealer, Same Day Grout Sealer, Cleaning Wipes with Sealer's Choice, Eff-Ex Efflorescence Remover. A brief explanation of each product is shown on the enclosed price list.

BONSAL - Floor Mud (50 lbs.) and WP6000 Waterproofing each represent some of the most competitive pricing for products in their respective category. WECU Underlayment is a cork underlayment for sound reduction available in three different thicknesses.

COLORFAST - ConestogaTile continues to stock coordinating caulks in sanded and non-sanded for all LATICRETE and BONSAL grout colors. Remember that these caulks are not manufactured by BONSAL or LATICRETE and, even though color coordination is usually very close, it should be presented as complementary and not matching.

FLORIDA TILE (ADDENDUM) - FLORIDA TILE is committed to a very aggressive new product campaign for the foreseeable future. These four new products are just the beginning. The Chair Rails shown at the bottom of the page are the result of a new shape (prefaced by CR) that will ultimately replace the old MCR version as inventories as depleted.

IMOLA - Cotto del Casale (in stock) and Pietre D' Italia (Spring 2006) have been added to the growing collection

of stocked IMOLA products. Sampling for both lines will begin shortly.

NOBLE - NOBLE continues to be our most consistent selling sheet membrane for waterproofing and crack isolation. A brief product description has been included on the price list to aid those customers who are not purchasing the products on a regular basis.

PREFORM - Remember, the cream-colored paper indicates a price list that shows net pricing with no applicable trade discount. All items are made from high density foam and are excellent for shower applications.

REX - The Field Tile in all sizes of Magistra has been lowered to $7.75/square foot. Show this beautiful product to the next client affected by natural stone "sticker shock". The 3" x 12" Bullnose has also been added to the Magistra line. In the Touchstone series, 12" x 12" and 18" x 18" Field Tile have been reduced in price while the 18" x 18" size in honed finish is being added to inventory in the spring.

RONDINE - Desertstone continues to be one of our most competitive unglazed porcelain that works well commercially and residentially. Two colors (Almond and Taupe) are also available in a wall tile package.

STONEPEAK...Baltimore, Dulles, Charlottesville Sales Territory Only - This is the initial unveiling of ConestogaTile's newest domestic manufacturer. Located in Tennessee, STONEPEAK CERAMICS recently opened one of the most sophisticated tile manufacturing facilities in the world. The entire product offering is comprised of porcelain for both residential and commercial projects. ConestogaTile is currently marketing the STONEPEAK line in the Baltimore, Dulles and Charlottesville sales territories.

The Last Line of Defense

Your Installation team is the last set of eyes that will see a product before installation. As much as manufacturers attempt

to eliminate shipping items with visual defects, invariably, things slip through the inspection process.

Manufacturers are taking tougher stances on labor claims for products installed with obvious visual defects. Everyone involved in the process that begins with manufacturing and ends with installation must make the appropriate effort to reduce claims.
