The Ten Commandments of
Latapoxy SP100 Epoxy Grout Installation
and Clean Up
I You can never use too much water to clean up LATAPOXY SP100.
II When installing LATAPOXY SP100 epoxy grout, forget everything you ever learned about installing cement grouts. Do not be prejudiced by previous problems installing other epoxy grouts.
III Have plenty of clean water available for clean up. You can never use too much water to clean up LATAPOXY SP100.
IV After mixing, do not let LATAPOXY SP100 sit in the mixing bucket. Immediately after mixing, pour the mixture onto the floor or onto a suitable surface, e.g. polyethylene sheet.
V Clean up can begin 30 minutes after application.
VI After applying the LATAPOXY SP100 to the floor or wall and removing as much excess grout as possible from the tile surface with a grout float, either pour or spray large volumes of clean water onto the surface.
VII Lightly scrub the surface with a white nylon pad to loosen the epoxy resin.
VIII Remove the white sudsy water layer using a heavy nap towel, frequently changing the rinse water. Use of dirty water will redeposit epoxy resin onto tile surface.
IX Remember, you can never use too much water to clean up LATAPOXY SP100. The key to a good LATAPOXY SP100 installation is to use lots of water in the clean up.
|
X LATAPOXY SP100 is the easiest to clean epoxy grout on the market today. With non-pigmented technology, LATAPOXY SP100 is even easier to clean than cement-based grouts. |
