Our Ongoing Emphasis On Education
|
The Conestoga Tile School is a model among educational programs in our industry. It was created in 1984 primarily for the training of tile setters. In 1992, course offerings expanded to include customer sales personnel. The course called "CT 101—An Introduction to the Tile Industry" is designed to teach the basics of ceramic tile so that sales people will have the knowledge to effectively communicate with the consumer. Periodic seminars are held on tile installation by various manufacturers and the National Association of Tile Contractors (NTCA). Conestoga Tile's own Architectural Services Department has also developed continuing educational programs certified by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) which allows architects attending these programs to receive CES credits in order to maintain their professional standing. |
